When light obliterates darkness - Elder Eugene James

From the beginning, God through his love thought about creation, uniquely designed everything and everyone, and through the Word of his mouth spoke everything into existence, the world and its inhabitants created.

Who we can become as we seek out Christ is who we were always meant to be. The bible teaches that we were known by God before we were in our mothers womb and he predestined us to be like Jesus in Character. This makes sense, as in John 1:4-5 it is written that The Word who is Jesus Christ "In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not".

There is a global issue, men and women are in darkness as they do not have the light of God in their life. They are confused on how they should operate in this world, more than confused they reject the light that has been given. The reality is that our Creator who died for all and rose that we will have a new life, has offered grace and transformation, whereby this darkness, lostness, confusion can be totally obliterated, yet the solution for earth problems has been largely ignored.

In the bible KJV Psalms 119:105 it states

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path" pointing to the bible as a direct answer for us to come out of the darkness. As we spend more time in the Word of God, the less darkness we have and the more light we receive, until our eyes are single towards Christ and there is no more darkness in us. Sin is that darkness, rejecting of almighty God, his principles his commandments and his Son.

The bible is clear, Jesus says of himself

KJV John 12

"46 I am come as light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness." There is no need to stay in the position you were born into, where all of us was born into a sinful world and condition. Christ through his Word and the Holy Spirit that he sent is in the business of transforming me and you. Jesus is literally standing at your heart's door and knocking, waiting for the invitation to come in. He will have all of us accept his invitation for life that says "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16.

Thats right Jesus loves the whole world, every nation, every ethnic group every person. A wonderful scripture

speaks of this love and it asks a question: "Who shall seperate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulations, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Then in verse 38 John states "For i am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principailities, nor powers, nor things present, not things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to seperate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:35-39

The world is broken, but Jesus is working to change this world, the Holy Spirit is convicting people of their errors and leading them to the better way, he cant force, He is all about free will, so transformation is an invitation. Speaking about transformation, the bible says for those who accept Jesus as their messiah, saviour, God "...be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Romans 12:2

The servants of God are preaching, sharing and praying that people will see the light. All of heaven is wooing each and everyone one of us to choose Christ no matter what they have done. All can be forgiven and set right, with clear direction to walk towards the light of Christ and therefore have light shining through them.

When Christ's ambassadors see the problems in the church and in the world, they are and will be compelled to respond and do something to bring Christ to the centre and heal the wounds and issues of today. Simply because love for people drives them to do so. When we as Gods children see and cry about the issues in this life and we present them to God, he hears us and through his word gives us the direction and peace to address the problems. More than that, he intervenes and can save, transform, protect and defend those in need of His help. This is how we need to make it through our day and finish the work Christ started.

So today, let Jesus in your heart, spend some time discovering his love, the way the truth and the life that he speaks about in the bible. See what God can do for you now.
