Prayer Ministries: Our Tuesday, Mid-week prayer and bible study sessions take place in-person at the Church and on Zoom. Please invite friends, and neighbours, as we stand in the gap, seeking the Lord in Prayer and bible study. We would also like to remind the church community (those who are willing and able) that we will be fasting and praying every other Tuesday of the week in our respective homes. Testimonies and breakthroughs will be shared when we meet for prayer at 7pm at Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Church Choir: The music department is inviting new members to join the Church Choir. If you are interested, please see Bro. Kofi or Sis. Nicole for more information.
The Children's Choir: Sis. Linda is recruiting new members to join the Children's Choir. All those interested in having their Children join, please reach out to her.
Our Prison ministries team will be making arrangements for their next visitation for worship at HunterCombe Center. If you wish to volunteer to join and participate, please note that the next scheduled visit will be taking place on 16th August, 2026. The visits are normally arranged for the 3rd week of each month. If you need induction, please contact Sis. Patience (Oxford) to register (or Elder Barrett - Banbury). Please pray for this ministry as it grows from strength to strength.
Prison Ministries & Community Services have an emphasis day, on Sabbath, 22 August, 2026, promoting In-Prison and Post-Prison support programmes. Special lunch will be served. Please invite friends and family. For more information, see Sis. Patience Magosha.
Sister Cynthia Golding will be joining the SEC Prison Ministries project in Ghana in October. Let us pray for and support her with funds to make her trip successful. For more information, please see flyer for details and speak with Sis. Cynthia.

3. The SEC Personal Ministries Department are very pleased to share a newly launched evangelism project designed to inspire and equip our members for mission. The project is titled, Evangelism-One-On-One. This 40-part video discipleship journey is designed to move members from witnessing fearfully to witnessing faithfully. These short, powerful lessons will be released weekly, and are ideal for small group study, personal growth, or outreach preparation.

SS 2026 Quarter 3: The Essence of Christian Life and Witness

Lesson 6: Spiritual Gifts

Memory Text: "Pursue love, and earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy" (1 Corinthians 14:1, ESV).

"Let men go forth to labor, trusting in the Lord, and He will go with them, convicting and converting souls. One worker may be a ready speaker, another a ready writer, another may have the gift of sincere, earnest, fervent prayer, another the gift of singing. Another may have special power to explain the word of God with clearness. And each gift is to become a power for God because He co-operates with the worker. To one God gives the word of wisdom, to another knowledge, to another faith. But all are to work under the same head. The diversity of gifts leads to a diversity of operations, 'but it is the same God which worketh all in all' (1 Cor. 12:6).
