Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up. After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight. Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
Hosea 6 vs 1-3 (KJV)
Announcements
Prayer Ministries: Our Tuesday, Mid-week prayer and bible study sessions take place in-person at the Church and on Zoom. Please invite friends, and neighbours, as we stand in the gap, seeking the Lord in Prayer and bible study. We would also like to remind the church community (those who are willing and able) that we will be fasting and praying every other Tuesday of the week in our respective homes. Testimonies and breakthroughs will be shared when we meet for prayer at 7pm at Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Church Choir: The music department is inviting new members to join the Church Choir. If you are interested, please see Bro. Kofi or Sis. Nicole for more information.
The Children's Choir: Sis. Linda is recruiting new members to join the Children's Choir. All those interested in having their Children join, please reach out to her.
The Community Services, Pathfinders, and Teens & Junior Choir departments are
planning a Children’s Fun Day — A celebration after exams featuring a jumping castle,
sales stalls, cakes, fresh juices, and smoothies. All funds raised will be donated to a charity chosen by the children. More information will be shared soon. Please look out for further details from Sis .Patience.
Our Prison ministries team will be making arrangements for their next visitation for worship at HunterCombe Center. If you wish to volunteer to join and participate, please note that the visits will be taking place in the 3rd week of each month. If you need induction, please contact Sis. Patience (Oxford) to register (or Elder Barrett - Banbury). Please pray for this ministry as it grows from strength to strength.
Sister Cynthia Golding will be joining the SEC Prison Ministries project in Ghana in October. Let us pray for and support her with funds to make her trip successful. For more information, please see flyer for details and speak with Sis. Cynthia.
All Church members are invited to attend our Regular Business Meeting this Saturday, 25th July, 2026, at 7pm on the Church Zoom. This will be a continuation of the same agenda that wasn’t finished on 20th June. Please plan and make effort to attend.

The SEC Personal Ministries Department are very pleased to share a newly launched evangelism project designed to inspire and equip our members for mission. The project is titled, Evangelism-One-On-One. This 40-part video discipleship journey is designed to move members from witnessing fearfully to witnessing faithfully. These short, powerful lessons will be released weekly, and are ideal for small group study, personal growth, or outreach preparation.

SS 2026 Quarter 3: The Essence of Christian Life and Witness
Memory Text: "Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, NIV).
"It is impossible for any to enjoy the blessing of sanctification while they are selfish and gluttonous. . . . The power of the human constitution to resist the abuses put upon it is wonderful, but persistent wrong habits in excessive eating and drinking will enfeeble every function of the body. In the gratification of perverted appetite and passion even professed Christians cripple nature in her work and lessen physical, mental, and moral power."--Ellen G. White, The Sanctified Life, pp. 25, 26.
"When one is fully emptied of self, when every false god is cast out of the soul, the vacuum is supplied by the inflowing of the Spirit of Christ. Such a one has the faith which works by love and purifies the soul from every moral and spiritual defilement."--Ellen G. White, The Home Missionary, November, 1893.
"God is seeking to exalt us to His high, pure, heavenly standard. For this purpose His Spirit is constantly striving with us. . . . Our natural tendencies, unless corrected by the Holy Spirit of God, have in them the seeds of moral death."--Ellen G. White, Manuscript 12, 1888.
