As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3 vs 19-22 (KJV)

Prayer Ministries:
Our Tuesday, Mid-week prayer and bible study sessions take place in-person at the Church and on Zoom. Please invite friends, and neighbours, as we stand in the gap, seeking the Lord in Prayer and bible study. We would also like to remind the church community (those who are willing and able) that we will be fasting and praying every other Tuesday of the week in our respective homes. Testimonies and breakthroughs will be shared when we meet for prayer at 7pm at Oxford Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The Church Choir: The music department is inviting new members to join the Church Choir. If you are interested, please see Bro. Kofi or Sis. Nicole for more information.
The Children's Choir: Sis. Linda is recruiting new members to join the Children's Choir. All those who are interested in having their Children join, please reach out to her.
Our Prison ministries team are planning their next visitation to HunterCombe Prison. If you wish to volunteer to join and participate, please note that the visits will be taking place on the 3rd week of each month. If you need induction, please contact Sis. Patience (Oxford) to register (or Elder Barrett - Banbury). Please pray for this ministry as it grows from strength to strength.
The Headington Festival 2026 is scheduled for 30th and 31st May at the Bury Knowles Park. As usual, by God's grace, we'll take the opportunity to have our annual grand literature distribution and health expo at the festival. Our Personal Ministries team encourages and welcomes all to participate in the event. Please pray for success in our evangelistic efforts at the event. The PM team will share the details in due course.
Pastor Tim conducts Baptismal classes for anyone who would like to be baptised or would like to participate in the studies. Please contact one of the elders or Pastor Tim on 07971186530 if you would like to take part.

The SEC Personal Ministries Department are very pleased to share a newly launched evangelism project designed to inspire and equip our members for mission. The project is titled, Evangelism-One-On-One. This 40-part video discipleship journey is designed to move members from witnessing fearfully to witnessing faithfully. These short, powerful lessons will be released weekly, and are ideal for small group study, personal growth, or outreach preparation.

Lesson 6: Prayer Warriors
Memory Text: “I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live” (Psalm 116:1-2, NKJV).
Imagine if you rarely spoke to your best friend or your spouse. Very soon the relationship would break down, and there’d be a problem. In the same way, prayer is an essential part of having a close relationship with God. It is a crucial devotional habit, one that each of us needs and can strengthen. If we don’t pray often and continually, we will wander from the Lord sooner or later.
