Close of Probation

A short study

The place of righteousness [ ] Pslams 119:172 - My tongue shall speak of thy words for all thy commandments are righteousness [ ] Revelations 12:17 - and the Dragon, was wroth with the woman and went tp make war with the remnant of the church, ( they keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus Christ [ ] We should give knowledge of right-doing, and glorify our Father in heaven, the church of revelations is supposed to be the citadel of Righteousness. [ ] What did solomon see in his days, the church represented by a citadel of iniquity [ ] Ecclesiasties 3:17 - God shall judge both the righteous and the wicked. God will have the last say [ ] Revelations 14:7 - Fear God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgement has come, worship Him who created the heavens and the earth and fountains of water [ ] 1 Peter 4:17 For the time has come that Judgement shall begin at the house of God, KJV 1 Peter 4 [ ] 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? [ ] 1 Peter 4:17P The judgment of the wicked is a distinct and separate work, and takes place at a later period. "Judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel?" 1 Peter 4:17. {GC 480.1} [ ] KJV Ezekiel 9 4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof. Ezekiel 9:4 In the time of the end the people of God will sigh and cry for the abominations done in the land. With tears they will warn the wicked of their danger in trampling upon the divine law, and with unutterable sorrow they will humble themselves before the Lord in penitence. The wicked will mock their sorrow and ridicule their solemn appeals. But the anguish and humiliation of God's people is unmistakable evidence that they are regaining the strength and nobility of character lost in consequence of sin. It is because they are drawing nearer to Christ, because their eyes are fixed on His perfect purity, that they discern so clearly the exceeding sinfulness of sin. Meekness and lowliness are the conditions of success and victory. A crown of glory awaits those who bow at the foot of the cross.{PK 590.2} 5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: KJV Ezekiel 9 6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house. Ezekiel 9:6 The mark of deliverance has been set upon those "that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done." Now the angel of death goes forth, represented in Ezekiel's vision by the men with the slaughtering weapons, to whom the command is given: "Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at My sanctuary." Says the prophet: "They began at the ancient men which were before the house." Ezekiel 9:1-6. The work of destruction begins among those who have professed to be the spiritual guardians of the people. The false watchmen are the first to fall. There are none to pity or to spare. Men, women, maidens, and little children perish together.{GC 656.2} KJV John 3 [ ] 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. [ ] 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [ ] 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Revelation 3:17 KJV Revelation 3 [ ] 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: • The righteous will be scarcely be saved because the church thinks it is righteous whn it is naked poor wretched and blind [ ] Luke 18 [ ] KJV Luke 18 [ ] 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. [ ] Luke 18:18-25 [ ] The lover of self is a transgressor of the law. This Jesus desired to reveal to the young man, and He gave him a test that would make manifest the selfishness of his heart. He showed him the plague spot in his character. The young man desired no further enlightenment. He had cherished an idol in the soul; the world was his god... In his love of self and worldly gain he was out of harmony with the principles of heaven. {COL 392. 1} [ ] KJV Luke 13 [ ] 23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, [ ] 24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. [ ] Luke 13:24 [ ] There is no such thing as a truly converted person living a helpless, useless life. It is not possible for us to drift into heaven. No sluggard can enter there. If we do not strive to gain an entrance into the kingdom, if we do not seek earnestly to learn what constitutes its laws, we are not fitted for a part in it. Those who refuse to co-operate with God on earth would not co-operate with Him in heaven. It would not be safe to take them to heaven. {COL 280} [ ] KJV 1 Corinthians 9 Running the Race [ ] 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. [ ] 25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. [ ] 1 Corinthians 9:25 [ ] The Christian life is a battle and a march. In this warfare there is no release; the effort must be continuous and persevering. It is by unceasing endeavor that we maintain the victory over the temptations of Satan. Christian integrity must be sought with resistless energy and maintained with a resolute fixedness of purpose.{MH 453.2} [ ] KJV Matthew 7 [ ] 13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: [ ] 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. [ ] Truth: If we dont consider the truth that we have a higher calling in Christ Jesus we will be lost [ ] KJV 2 Timothy 2 [ ] 3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. [ ] 4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. [ ] 5 And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully. [ ] [ ] KJV Luke 13 [ ] 3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. [ ] 4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? [ ] 5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. [ ] And the Lord said My Spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years Genesis 6:3 Check in with Jesus today before it is too late He wants to give you His spirit so you will have the power to resist temptation and live for God.
